Klaas & Annelies emigrated to Canada in 1978. After establishing in Southern Alberta their main passion enjoying Friesian Horses could be fulfilled. In 1983 they started Bonnie View Farm to breed, raise, train, ride, drive, promote and enjoy Friesian Horses. This resulted in some distinct Bonnie View Farm broodmare lines, within Stam 61. In 2021 a broodmare from Stam 131 was added to the breeding program.
For over 30 years committed to breeding FHANA/KFPS registered quality Friesian performance horses. FHANA is the only recognized registry in North America connected with the mother studbook (KFPS/Royal Friesian) the Friesian Horse in the Netherlands.
